Colt 1861 Navy revolver, .36 caliber percussion, blue and case hardened finish, varnish wood grips, serial #757. The revolver remains in very good plus original condition showing 50-70% original blue on barrel, evenly drifting and toning, with some light erosion and pinprick pitting just starting. The cylinder retains 50-60% original blue and a like amount of cylinder scene. The frame shows 50-70% case hardening with 30-50% on loading lever. The backstrap and trigger guard show 10-20% darkened silver. The action is crisp, the interior near excellent. All the cylinder pins are retained. All matching serial numbers. A far above-average 61 Navy which would rate a strong 7-1/2-8 on a 1-10 scale, and hard to find in better condition. Est: $3,000 - $6,000
