Colt 1860 Army Revolver, .44 caliber percussion, 4-screw cut for shoulder stock, refinished, pewter inlaid grips, with associated parts, serial #20464. The barrel is stamped 80464, and the dye stamps do not seem to be Colt and do not seem to match. The loading lever is converted from a Remington. The grips are refinished, and show a loss at bottom of front grip. The right grip shows the inlay of a Union style shield, the left grip shows two pewter inlays and a small German Silver inlay in the Civil War style. The barrel was heavily buffed, and address missing. The frame shows dents under the refinish. The cylinder shows hard use and cleaning, and the hammer is very heavily used in almost relic condition. The action is working, the bore is fair, a 1950’s restoration of a heavily used Civil War revolver replacing lost parts and screws, and a somewhat amateur restoration. Est: $350 - $700
