Colt 1860 Army Model percussion revolver in .44 caliber with 8” barrel, US military inspections, wood grips, serial number 104453. The pistol remains in good condition showing an applied chemical finish which is a gray brown color. The barrel address is good and there is a trace of cylinder scene. There is some scattered minor erosion and pitting and there is some wear at the muzzle. The Colt patent marking on frame is veryvisible. All visible serial numbers are matching. The grips have been cleaned and sanded lightly and there are some small losses and a large chip at the left toe. There is a trace of a cartouche marked on the grip. The action is working and the bore is fair. An acceptable specimen of the 1860 Army with lanyard holes cut into the bottoms of grips. Est.: $1,000 -$2,000.
