Colt 1860 Army 2nd Model Richards conversion .44 center fire Colt caliber, showing 1871 – 1872 patent dates, brass trigger guard with iron back strap, serial number 196872. This Colt remains in fair to poor conditionshowing a dark brown patina finish with hard ware, restoration and a great deal of use. The barrel address is worn or cleaned almost off and there has been cleaning, chemical browning, repairs and replacement of grips.The action is working. The patent dates are visible on frame.
