fine. The barrel and cylinder have a smooth mottled gray patina with some minor pitting. The cylinder scene is weak, but visible. The loading lever, hammer and trigger have a smooth dark mottled patina with much of the original casehardening pattern remaining on the hammer. The frame retains approximately 50% original bright blue finish with scattered minor flaking and some minor spotting. The backstrap has a smooth brownish patina with strong original bright blue finish and a few minor dings at the top. The grip is excellent with 97% original varnish showing some very minor wear on the lower edges, some chipping on the upper inside edge, a very small chip on the left toe and a few minor dings. The barrel markings are clear. The action is excellent.
