Colt 1851 Navy revolver .36 caliber percussion four- screw cut for shoulder stock in very good original condition serial number 94477. This Navy retains 20% to 40% original blue on barrel which is evenlydrifting and toning showing a nice patina and normal age. This Colt shows a London barrel address and British proofs. The cylinder shows approximately 75% to 85% original and well defined cylinder scene. The edge of thecylinder shows engagement dates which are clear. The cylinder is crisp with traces of finish and all six safety pins retained. The frame shows 50% to 70% case hardened colors with some rainbow colors still evident. Thehammer shows 30% to 50% case hardening going to a nice patina. The loading lever shows traces of original colors. The back strap and trigger guard show 75% plus original darkened silver plate. The grips show 75% to85% original varnish and are very good with finish missing from the areas where the stock was attached. The front sight is an old period addition to a blade and post style. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp,
