Colt 1851 Navy revolver, 2nd model squareback, London addressed and British proofed, serial number “1004”. This scarce navy remains in original fair to good condition with a deep brown patina finish and wood grips. The metal surfaces show light to moderate pitting and erosion with some scattered areas of heavier pitting on cylinder and left side of barrel. The barrel address is 75% visible. Colt’s patent on the left side of the frame is about 50% with “Colt’s” mostly obscured. The grips are good with honest wear and losses at the toes and a few dings. The action is good.
