Colt 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver
Manufactured in 1865. Standard New York barrel address, "COLTS / PATENT" on left side of frame, and the Texas Navy scene on the cylinder. Matching full serial number on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and backstrap and partial number "2034" on the loading lever and arbor pin, and "82034" on the wedge. Fitted with a smooth one piece varnished walnut grip.

Condition: Very good plus . The revolver retains 20% scattered thin original blue finish mixed with a smooth mottled brown patina with a number of minor dings around the wedge. The remaining metal surfaces have a smooth mottled gray patina. The brass has an aged patina with strong traces of the original dark silver plating on the inside of the trigger guard bow. The grip is fine with 90% original varnish, lower edge wear on both sides of lower grip, a couple of minor nicks on the lower edge (right side) and overall a few minor dings and dents. The markings are clear. The action is fine. A few screws are modern replacements.
