Note: As can be seen from the cypher on the cover, G VI R represents King George VI of the United Kingdom, whose Royal Cypher was "George VI Rex" (Rex is Latin for King). In the Commonwealth realms, royal cyphers are used on government papers, duty stamps, and similar items, and on royal arms and crowns.
