<B>Colorful Lot of Civil War Patriotic Covers.</B></I> A wonderful cross section of patriotic, political, and humorous Civil War covers, most with colorful vignettes. Each envelope measures about 5.5” x 3.25”, all are unused, slightly toned but in very good condition. The vignettes depict patriotic flag scenes, political caricatures, soldiers, and a few cartoons which feature Jeff Davis in a variety of unflattering scenes. One of the group is a double-sided cover featuring a full-side vignette of Camp Dennison near Cincinnati on the verso, and a humorous full-side vignette of a country bumpkin giving a speech to the soldiers stationed there on the recto.
