lot of 7. TLS by T.P. McDonald, 1p, 22 Dec. 1903, Thermopolis, WY. Letterhead of The Cody-Meeteetse-Thermopolis Stage Line, Thermopolis, WY with wonderful coach and four upper left. The letter concerns freighting a coal sample to the state geologist, H.C. Beeler, and he also mentions that in the process of taking out the coal, they hit oil at Bonanza. Second ALS from Francis X. Worthy inquiring about transportation to Rico from Montrose, CO and feed for his animals, dated 27 Mar. 1890. He states that he intends to go up immediately to that point and starting a milk route before the rush in June, provided the place justifies such a step. Where you have miners, they have needs. The other 5 items are checks and receipts: receipt duplicate from Savage Mine, Virginia, NV, 1869; Bank of California at Gold Hill, 1871; Nevada Bank of San Francisco, 1879; Trimble & Hunter, Leadville, CO, 1887; and Bullion and Exchange Bank, Carson, City, NV, 1895, last made out to Wells, Fargo & Co. Bank.
