<B>Colonial Trans-Atlantic Mercantile Autograph Letter Signed,</B></I> “<I>Andreas Henry Groth,</B></I>” three pages with integral address panel, 7.75” x 12.5”, London, England, June 11, 1765, to John Reynell, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Addressing the recipient as “<I>brother</B></I>” despite different surnames likely indicates communication between Quakers. The letter's American author does “<I>no more like London, the noise, hurry and dirt,</B></I>” being disagreeable. Discussed in detail are business and politics in Britain, mentioning William Pitt, the King and corruption in Parliament. Even, dark toning. Very good condition. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
