Two pieces of Revolutionary War–era currency: a thirty shilling note from New Jersey, dated March 25, 1776, signed in ink by Jonathan Deare, Robert Smith, and Joseph Smith; and a two dollar note from Pennsylvania, dated November 2, 1776, bearing two indistinguishable ink signatures. In overall very good to fine condition, with heavy soiling and a fold to the two dollar note.
