Pennsylvania Currency
March 16, 1785 9 Ninetieths of a Dollar PA. Note
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. March 16, 1785. Nine Pence or “9 Ninetieths of a Dollar.” Choice Extremely Fine.
A lovely high quality note is from an issue that is scarce in choice grade. Bold deep black printed text and designs are well centered on its clean special laid paper with an integral watermark which reads “PENSYL-VANIA”. The brown signature of William Tilton and the serial number are clear and readable. A nice attractive note printed by Francis Bailey.
