Fr. NC-176a. This beautiful Gem Uncirculated Revolutionary War period note has a face side with outstanding print quality and centering, within four full margins. The reverse is just slightly off-center with yet with the outer border designs of the note printed on the crisp bright paper. All of the paper edges and corner tips are sharp. Red and brown signatures of R. Caswell and Jesse Cobb with its serial number are very clearly written. This note is listed in the 2008 published 5th Edition of Newman at a value of $500 in Extremely Fine with no higher qualities presented. This is a wonderful opportunity and top quality note, which will no doubt be quite a cherished highlight in the successful bidder’s collection.
