Exceptional “City of New Brunswick” Three Pence Note The Single Finest PMG Certified About Uncirculated-55 “EPQ”

New Jersey. March 10, 1796. Three Pence. “City of New Brunswick.” PMG graded About Uncirculated-55 Exceptional Paper Quality.

This is an impressive quality New Jersey Small Change note. It is on a rare private New Jersey Colonial era issue which is listed in Eric Newman’s reference “The Early Paper Money of America” on page 267. It is very clean and well printed in dark black, having four full to huge margins on both the face and back with no apparent folds. “Printed by A. Blauvelt” found on the lower central reverse, is printed on crisp, clean period paper. An exceptional opportunity for rarity and New Jersey Colonial currency collectors, as it is vastly superior in quality to the Newman plate note illustration. The Single Finest Certified by PMG.
