FR. NJ-182. The highest two denominations of this 1776 Revolutionary War issue are considered by many to be among the most beautiful and desirable of all Colonial and American issues of currency. This example is vividly printed in both red and blue on the face, on fresh vivid clean white laid period paper. The watermark NEW JERSEY being at center. There are four full, large even margins creating perfect centering both face and on the black printed reverse. Much of the text remains lightly embossed into the paper attesting to this notes tremendous originality. Bold brown ink signatures and serial number add to the vibrant color and eye appeal of this exceptional specimen. With notes of this caliber and beauty are becoming ever more difficult to locate, one should strongly consider the impressive note offered here.
