1776 Georgia Seal Note With “Liberty Cap” Error Seal Signed By Edward Telfair Articles of Confederation Signer

Georgia. 1776 Light Blue “Error” Seal. Two Dollars. “Liberty Cap” Seal. Hinge/tape repairs. PMG Net graded Fine-12.

Fr. GA-73a. The bold blue Liberty Cap “Error” Seal is exceptionally vivid. This Two Dollars denomination was normally printed with the Floating Jugs Seal on the properly issued notes. It is Signed by Edward Telfair, Signer of the Articles of Confederation. Some easily removable stamp hinges and a thin strip of archival paper previously placed along the right reverse margin as reinforcement. This note has the eye appeal of Very Fine, with a truly great looking “Error” type Liberty Cap Seal. Ex: Robert Vlack (c. 1987) with his holder.
