Benjamin Levy Signed November 2, 1776 Continental Note Philadephia Issue PCGS Certified Very Choice New-64
Continental Congress. November 2, 1776. Three Dollars. Signed by Jewish Signer Benjamin Levy. Philadephia Issue. PCGS graded Very Choice New-64.
Fr. CC-48. A vivid crisp and impressive 1776 Revolutionary War Continental note that has excellent centering with four full sharp margins to both its face and back. The paper is crisp and clean with the bold deep brown signature, “B. Levy” as the first signer at top. Holder notes minor mounting traces on back. (No such distraction is seen by this cataloger.) Overall, perhaps conservatively graded as this note has the wonderful eye appeal of Gem.
