This is a very nice example of a standard pre-war commercial Walther pistol that is complete with an original unmarked pre-war brown leather holster. The left side of the slide has the standard Walther banner followed by the two line address and caliber designation followed by "Mod PPK". The right side of the chamber area of the barrel, and the slide are marked with the "Crown/ N" commercial proof with the serial number (31757k) marked vertically on the right side of the frame behind the trigger. It is fitted with the standard fixed sights and has the one-piece brown checkered wrap around plastic grip with the Walther banner at the top on each side. It is complete with an original magazine that is marked on the lower right side "WALTHER/PPK/7.65 m/m", with matching mottled brown finger extension base. Stock:
Gauge: 7.65 mm
Finish: blue
Grips: brown plastic checkered
Serial Number: 317757k
Condition: Excellent with 95% of the original Walther blue finish showing edge and high spot wear overall with slightly more thinning on the front grip strap, with the blue finish on the slide having taken on a slightly more purplish tint. The leather tab on the front appears to have been an old replacement or was resewn years ago as the color and condition of the leather matches the holster perfectly. A very nice pre-war commercial Walther PPK rig.
