A) Manufactured from 1860 to 1868. The top of the barrel rib has the one line address, the cylinder is marked with the patent dates and the serial number on the butt. Fitted with smooth varnished walnut grips. Comes with an unmarked homemade brown leather flap holster.

Condition: Very good. The barrel and cylinder have a smooth mottled brown patina. The frame retains 98% original silver plating showing some edge wear. The silver has darkened with age. The grips are excellent with 98% original varnish remaining. The markings are clear. The action is fine. The holster is good with a small tear on the flap and the upper edge of the stitching coming loose, otherwise the stitching is tight.
- B) Manufactured in 1875. The barrel is numbered to the gun and has the two line Hartford address on top with "22 CAL" marked on the left frame side. A scroll engraving on a punch dot background appears on the frame with light scroll engraving on the barrel and cylinder, and a geometric design on the back strap. Fitted with smooth walnut grips.

Condition: Period New York engraved and finished with 90% plus nickel finish remaining. The grips show an old coat of varnish and remain good with a couple minor chips on the upper edges. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is fine.
