Produced from 1871 to 1879. Blade front sight and frame groove rear sight with the one line address on top of the barrel. 7-round fluted cylinder, casehardened hammer, and smooth grips with a bird's head butt.

Condition: Very good, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing bright high edge wear, areas of brown patina, and scattered handling marks. Traces of the original silver remain visible on the frame, with a fine aged patina overall. Grips are very good, with minor varnish loss and handling marks. Mechanically very good.

B) Manufactured circa 1863 to 1888. The left side barrel rib has an illegible marking stamped over the one line Ilion address and the right side barrel rib has the patent dates marking. Matching serial number on the frame and barrels. German silver blade front and frame notch rear sights. The grip section is contoured so the butt rests on the ring finger.

Condition: Very good. The pistol retains 20% original blue finish in and around the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are also very good with a worn bottom edge on the left panel and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
