A) Remington Model 14R Slide Action Carbine. Manufactured in 1920. Equipped with blade front and adjustable notch rear sights with a push button safety and thumb nail safety. 12 groove forearm and smooth straight grip stock with checkered steel buttplate which has the Remington-UMC logo.

Condition: Very fine. The carbine retains 70% original blue finish thinning to a brown patina with extensive slide wear and areas of smooth gray on the frame underside and trigger guard. The wood is good with the stock wrist cracked and some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

B) Manufactured in 1941. Equipped with ivory beaded Lyman blade front sight, adjustable notch rear sight, and Marble tang peep sight, with the top of the receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting (4 holes). 25 groove forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel Remington buttplate.

Condition: Very good. The carbine retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina with some minor edge wear. The magazine retains heavy amounts of blue in the protected areas with the balance a smooth gray patina. The wood is excellent with some minor dings, scratches and pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.
