A) Remington Model 81B Woodsmaster Semi-Automatic Rifle. Manufactured in 1947. Raised Marble No. 3 front sight, sporting rear sight, and Redfield receiver sight. The left side of the receiver is marked "THE / WOODSMASTER / TRADE MARK / MODEL 81-B". Checkered select walnut forearm and pistol grips stock with checkered steel shotgun style factory buttplate.

Condition: Very fine. The rifle retains 95% thinning original blue finish with some minor edge wear, some minor thinning, and some minor handling marks. There is some evidence of a repair in the lower tang with a some cold blue present. The revarnished wood is very fine with exception of a minor crack in the grip area and some very scattered minor dings and scratches. Overall the checkering is crisp.

B) Manufactured in 1912 with dovetail and semi-buckhorn sights. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with the forearm takedown screw having a small wire swiveling loop, and Remington-UMC hard rubber buttplate.

Condition: Fine. The rifle retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina and some minor dings and scratches. The barrel has limited pin point pitting. The wood is fine with half of the varnish remaining and some minor dings and scratches (more numerous on buttstock). Mechanically excellent.
