A) Remington Model 8 Semi-Automatic Rifle. Manufactured in 1920. Equipped with a blade front sight and Lyman No. 41 receiver sight mounted on the left side, with the rear sight removed (Lyman filler block added). Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with steel buttplate with Remington-UMC trademark and the forearm takedown screw has a small wire swiveling loop.

Condition: Fine. The rifle retains 60% original blue finish (mostly on the receiver which is fading to a plum) with the balance a smooth brown patina. There is some very scattered minor spotting on the receiver and the buttplate has a smooth gray patina with a large ding at the top. The wood is very good with some minor dings and scratches and the buttstock has a long hairline crack along the grain. Mechanically excellent.

B) Manufactured in 1931. Equipped with blade front and buckhorn rear sights on barrel with standard markings. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with serrated steel buttplate and forearm takedown screw has a small wire swiveling loop.

Condition: Very fine. The rifle retains 90% original blue finish with some thinning to a gray. The receiver and magazine have limited minor spotting and the buttplate has a mixed brown and gray patina. The wood is very good with crazed varnish on the buttstock and a small missing chip near the upper tang, along with some minor handling marks. Mechanically needs work.
