A) Remington Rider Double Action Percussion Pocket Revolver. Manufactured from 1860 to 1873. Standard two line address/patent dates barrel marking, with the distinctive Joseph Rider design features of the "mushroom" style cylinder, double action mechanism, and straight trigger. The trigger guard is German silver, while the remainder of the gun is blue. Matching serial number on barrel underside and frame ahead of the trigger. Fitted with checkered grips numbered to gun.

Condition: Very good. The revolver retains traces of original blue finish with the balance mostly a smooth brown patina. There is some minor pitting (mostly on the cylinder and on frame sides at the front). The grips are very fine with some minor dings mostly near the bottoms. Overall the checkering is crisp. Cylinder does not rotate in double action, but works fine in single action.

B) Standard two line address/patent dates barrel marking, with the factory installed cylinder with removable cover at the rear. Serial number on the barrel underside and frame ahead of the trigger. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original nickel finish with some scattered light flaking. The nickel is taking on a frost appearance in most areas. The grips are very fine with some minor dings and scratches. Overall the checkering is crisp. The markings are clear. The action is very good.
