Very good, with 40% of the original blue finish, strongest on the barrel, with a mixed brown and gray patina on the remainder, and scattered scratches and handling marks overall. Left hinge is cracked at the "5:00" position. The butt has been polished bright. Strong niter blue is present on the small parts. Grips are very fine, with a few small chips along the edges. Mechanically needs adjustment.

B) Blade front and notch rear sights, with "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION, N.Y." (began in 1888) on the top rib. Matching numbers are present on the lower barrel and the left side of the frame under the grip. Nickel finish with niter blue screws, hammer and ejector, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original nickel finish with some minor flaking on the top of the frame and some mild blistering. Much of the original niter blue remains on the small parts with some minor oxidation on the frame screw head and hammer. The grips are very good with some light wear and pressure dents, and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The barrel hinge is tight and the action excellent.
