A) Excellent Remington Model 8 Semi-Automatic Rifle. Manufactured in 1928. Replacement blade front sight, rear sight removed (Marble blank added), and Lyman tang peep sight. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with serrated iron buttplate. The forearm takedown screw has a small wire swiveling loop.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains nearly 97% original blue finish mixed with a smooth plum patina, along with some minor scratches on the receiver. The trigger guard/lower tang has a smooth plum patina. The wood is fine with the varnish beginning to craze and some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.

B) Manufactured in 1907. King blade front sight and Lyman two leaf folding rear sight. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with Remington hard rubber buttplate and forearm takedown screw has a small wire swiveling loop.

Condition: Very good. The rifle retains 60% faded original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The sanded and reoiled wood is fine with most of the finish remaining and some very scattered minor handling marks with a long pressure dent on the forearm. A sling swivel stud near stock toe has been removed and a filled repair on the forearm near the sling swivel. Mechanically excellent.
