A) Remington Model 14R Slide Action Saddle Ring Carbine. Manufactured in 1928. Marble Sheard blade front sight, adjustable notch rear sight, and King patent tang peep sight, with the top of the receiver drilled and tapped for sight mounting. The left side of the receiver has a saddle ring stud with ring. Nicely figured checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber Remington grip cap, serrated iron buttplate, buttstock sling swivel stud and sling swivel mounted on the magazine barrel mount.

Condition: Excellent. The carbine retains 95% original blue finish with some minor thinning and extensive slide wear. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches with some textured varnish near the buttplate. Overall the checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.

B) Manufactured in 1946. Equipped with Marble No. 3 blade front sight and Redfield receiver peep sight, with rear barrel sight removed (filler block added). High gloss smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with checkered factory steel buttplate.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 97% original blue finish showing some thinning to gray with some mild scratches (mostly on the receiver). The revarnished wood is fine with most of the finish remaining and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
