A) Manufactured in the 1850s by William W. Marston under the trade name Washington Arms, which is marked on top of the hammer. A barrel rib is marked "CAST STEEL" and floral scroll engraved frame. Serial number on the left side of the frame under the grip and the number "73" (likely an assembly number) on the trigger and barrel cluster.

Good. The pistol has a smooth gray patina with traces of original blue finish remaining in the protected areas of the barrel cluster. The grips are fine with a series of minor pressure dents on the bottoms and a few minor handling marks overall. Mechanically fine.

B) One of 200 manufactured from 1852 to 1858. A barrel rib has the address marking with a second rib marked "CAST STEEL". Standard engraving on frame and shield. Matching numbers on frame, hammer spring and barrel cluster.

Good. The pepperbox has a smooth gray patina with some minor flash pitting. The engraving is crisp. The grips are very good with a sliver of wood missing and some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
