Collector's Lot of Two Japanese Semi-Automatic Pistols with Holsters -A) Kokura Arsenal Type 14 Small Trigger guard Nambu Pistol


A) Dated "9.3" (March 1934), with fixed sights, knurled and ribbed cocking knob, ribbed hardwood grips and nickel magazine. With a brown leather clamshell holster and shoulder strap.

Fine as arsenal refurbished, showing 95% of the refinished blue, with some mild spotting on the grip straps and scattered light pitting, densest on the lanyard loop and cocking knob. The grips are very good, with light dents and stains. The holster shows minor scuffing, otherwise very good. Mechanically very good.

B) Dated 14.7 (July 1939). Fixed sights, smooth trigger, serrated safety and rounded back cocking knob, exposed sear and checkered grips. With a brown pigskin leather holster.

Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, along with some light handling marks and spotting. The rear section of the frame below the cocking knob is cracked and bulged, cause unknown. Grips are very good, with mild handling marks and sharp checkering. Holster is good, with a shoulder strap loop absent from the back and mild scuffing. Mechanically good.
