A) Manufactured circa 1942 with an adjustable rear sight, grooved trigger and checkered walnut grips. Later on the barrel had a sleeve placed over the barrel and there are two drilled and tapped holes with filler screw near the muzzle on the bottom of the barrel. The serial number is on the front strap.

Condition: Very good, 75% of the original finish remains on the frame with some finish wear on the front strap, back strap and high edges. There is some mild oxidation on the back strap. The barrel retains 80% blue finish with some muzzle wear, light scratches and a couple filled holes. The grips are very good with a few light dings.
- B) Manufactured from 1946 to 1955. Features a blade front and a windage adjustable rear sight on a heavy barrel with a checkered spur hammer, grooved trigger, and two-piece checkered dark walnut grips. The left side of the frame is marked with the four-line address/patent information above the caliber. The left side of the slide is marked, "HI-STANDARD/MODEL H-D MILITARY".

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 99% of the original finish with light handling/storage marks. The grips are very good with handling/storage wear and a minor chip to the base of the left grip. Mechanically excellent.
