A) German System Buchel Target Pistol. Full octagon light target weight barrel with a ramp sight, empty rear sight seat. Top flat marked "H. BACHMANN, MAGDEBURG." Nitro proofed with a date of 10/07. Action, barrel and breech block crown "B" and "U" proofed. System Buchel marked breech block, double set triggers checkered grip and forearm with a horn grip cap and right hand palm swell.

Condition: Good with 90% thin original blue on the barrel, 20% thinning blue on the action mixed with a dark patina, and the trigger guard has a gray patina. Overall there is scattered areas of moderate oxidation. The wood is good. It appears that a hand rest was removed from the right side. There are scattered dents and dings, with some bruising of the otherwise crisp checkering. The buttplate is loose and chipped. Mechanically fine.

B) Full octagon light target weight barrel with a ramp front sight and interchangeable bead. Marked "L. STOVER, HAMBURG" on top barrel flat, "TELL / D.R.G.M" marked falling block action with double set triggers. Target sight, action operating lever on the back strap. Right handed thumb rest target grips with a horn grip cap and swivel stud.

Condition: Good with 95% blue on refinished and sleeved barrel. Resoldered front sight base. 60% case color on the action with areas faded to gray. The trigger guard has a smooth mottled gray patina. The wood is good with freshened grip checkering, scattered minor dents and gouges and dark oil stained and cracked forend. Mechanically fine.
