A) German Single Shot System Meister Sporting Rifle. A slightly modified Meister type action without any markings. No maker's marks, such as Buchel. Light weight octagon barrel with a pin head ramp front sight, B.U. proofmarks, no date, and 5.4mm caliber markings. Matte top flat with integral quarter rib scaled down three quarter size Meister type action with double set triggers, Lyman tang sight, sporter stock with horn buttplate.

Condition: Fine as partially refurbished with 90% blue on the barrel, 50% casehardened color on the action with a round head replacement screw on the left side of the action. Lever latch needs some work, otherwise the action is fine. Refinished stock in very good condition. Buttplate shows heavy worm damage and the forearm has repaired cracks.

B) Medium weight target barrel with a dovetail front sight seat, missing the front sight. Barrel sight on the quarter rib which needs additional fitting. B.U., N, 11gr. Markings and 7.7mm markings. Casehardened system 1908 will action with double set triggers, integral tang sight base. German style cheekpiece stock with sling swivel, iron Schuetzen buttplate.

Condition: Good as partially refurbished with 90% blue on refinished barrel with some light pitting. Casehardened action has turned a smooth gray/brown, with some hammer marks on top of the breech block and action sides. Refinished stock shows light handling marks and some wood fills. Checkering is crisp with some light dings. Barrel sight needs a replacement attachment screw. The action is fine.
