A) One of 1,000 manufactured circa 1870s and with factory engraving. A scroll engraving on a punch dot background is present on the frame sides, cylinder, top strap, back strap and upper rear barrel flats with a geometric pattern on the top barrel flat, upper barrel flats at the muzzle, top strap sides, and bottom of back strap. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two line address/patent dates marking. Fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Condition: Fine. The revolver retains 60% original nickel finish with a gray patina on the cylinder and light flaking overall. The grips are fine with a surface chip on the right panel and a few age cracks. The pearl has an attractive color. Mechanically fine.
- B) Manufactured in the 1880s with factory engraving. The frame sides have a floral engraving on a matte background with a scroll engraving on the cylinder chambers. A geometric pattern is featured on the top strap and back strap with matte panels on the barrel flats. Standard two line barrel address/patent date marking and "XL No. 1" on the top strap. Fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 80% original nickel finish showing some minor flaking. The grips are excellent with an attractive color. Action needs work as the cylinder does not rotate when action is cycled.
