A) Manufacturer: English Model: Flintlock
Manufactured circa 1760. Brass barrel and frame. Top barrel flat is marked "BLAKE - LONDON", upper left flat marked with recessed crown over "GP", "GB" and "V". Snap bayonet on the left barrel side, under barrel rib with two ramrod pipes securing an iron ramrod, center mounted hammer and walnut grip with decorative silver wire inlays. Condition:
Good. The brass has an aged patina. The metal surfaces have a silver gray patina with some minor pitting on the bayonet. The grip is very good with a few small pieces of the inlay absent and there is an old repair on the upper left side. The bayonet functions well and the action is fine.
B) Manufacturer: English Model: Flintlock
Brass screw off barrel frame and barrel marked "DANBER" in a banner on the left side and "LONDON" on the right amid light floral scroll engraving. Barrel underside has two Birmingham proof marks. Center mounted hammer and one-piece walnut grip. Provenance: The William Ashby Collection

Condition:
Good. The brass has an aged patina. There is a small solder repair on the right side of the frame at the breech. The grip is ill-fitting at the frame and remains very good with a few scattered minor dents. The engraving and markings are clear. The action is fine.
