Collector's Lot of Two Early World War II Production Walther P38 Semi-Automatic Pistols -A) Walther "ac/41" Code P38 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Serialized Magazine


A) Visible "f" block serial numbers match with "Eagle/359" proofs on most of the small parts. Standard "ac/41" slide markings and the barrel lug stamped with the bore dimension, circled "B" and "49". Magazine is numbered to gun. The ribbed grips have the maker's mark and "Eagle/359" proof on the inside.

Refinished. The pistol retains 70% of the blue finish thinning to a brown with areas of smooth gray patina. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor handling marks.

B) Standard "ac/42" slide markings with "Eagle/359" proofs present. The spine of the magazine is stamped "jvd" above an "Eagle/709" proof. Ribbed grips, visible "k" block serial number match ("k" block serial numbered P38s were the last of the "ac/42" coded P38 pistols manufactured by Walther).

Very good. The pistol retains 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There is some light pitting on the slide. The grips are excellent with a few mild handling marks.
