Collector's Lot of Two Colt Semi-Automatic Pistols

Manufactured in 1908. Standard two line, two block left side slide markings with the circled Rampant Colt behind the serrations, with the two line caliber designation on the right side. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner across the top and the Rampant Colt in the center.

Condition: Refinished with most of the blue finish remaining, showing some scattered areas of minor pitting under the finish, heaviest around the grips. The grips are good with some lower edge wear, a couple of minor bruises and well defined checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.

B) Manufactured in 1937. Fixed sights, with the two line address and patent dates on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, and standard caliber markings below the ejection port. The trigger guard is marked with the triangle "VP" proof and "T" on the left side and "75" on the opposite. Low profile fixed sights, two-tone Colt marked magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips with silver medallions.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 97% plus original blue finish with some scattered minor spotting and oxidation. The grips are also excellent with a couple of minor dings in the otherwise very crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
