Matching numbers on barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap (double stamped), loading lever, and cylinder, with unmarked wedge. Fitted with a varnished one piece grip.
BBL: 5 inch octagon
Stock:
Gauge: 31 percussion
Finish: blue/casehardened/silver
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 175906
Condition: Very good. The revolver has a mottled gray patina with some very scattered minor pitting. Most of the cylinder scene remains. Traces of original silver plating remain around the trigger guard, otherwise the brass has a smooth untouched aged patina. The grip is excellent with most of the varnish remaining and some minor handling marks. The action needs work, but does function.

B) Manufactured in 1863. One line New York address, "COLTS / PATENT" on left side of the frame, "36 CAL" on left trigger guard shoulder, and 1850 patent date on cylinder. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, and wedge. Fitted with a one piece varnished grip. Colt manufactured approximately 19,000 of these revolvers and a great many were used for metallic conversion, making them scarce today.
BBL: 6 1/2 inch round
Stock:
Gauge: 36 percussion
Finish: blue/casehardened/silver
