A) Colt Police Positive Double Action Revolver. Manufactured in 1909. Two line address/patent dates top barrel marking with "POLICE / POSITIVE" flanked by "COLT" and "38" on the left side. The left side plate has the Rampant Colt with the stylized "C". Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" at the tops.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 97% original blue finish with some minor spotting (heaviest on the barrel), some minor holster type wear and some thinning to a brown (mostly on the grip straps). The grips are excellent with light overall handling marks and very crisp checkering. The action is excellent.

B) Manufactured in 1901. Blade and frame groove sights with three line address/patent dates (1884, 1900) marking on top of the barrel, "COLT. D.A. 32" on left barrel side, and Rampant Colt encircled by "COLT NEW POLICE" on left side of frame. Niter blue trigger and hammer with polished sides and fitted with pearl grips.

Condition: Very good. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with areas beginning to thin to a brown patina with a noticeable cylinder drag line and very limited minor pitting. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor scratches. The pearl is taking on a pleasant aged appearance. The action is fine.
