A) Manufactured from 1870 to 1890. The top of the barrel has the standard two line Hartford address followed by "No.1". Light floral engraving on the frame and part of the barrel. Checkered panels are engraved on the grip. "480" is stamped on the bottom of the barrel and on the bottom of the grip.

Condition: Fair. The metal surfaces have a mottled gray/brown patina showing some mild pitting. The engraving is faint and the grip checkering is slightly worn. Barrels is loose, otherwise mechanically fine.
- B) Manufactured 1870-90. The derringer has the standard two line Hartford address on top of the barrel followed by "No2" and a Maltese cross. Light floral engraving on the frame and part of the barrel. "1418" is marked on the bottom of the barrel. Fitted with checkered bird head walnut grips numbered to the gun.

Condition: Very good as replated. The derringer retains most of the dull plated finish with light pitting and some flaking. The grips are very good as refurbished with handling/storage marks and couple of dings. Mechanically excellent.
