A) This example has the high polish charcoal blue and vibrant case colors that are characteristic of Klay Associates. There is a "K" stamped underneath the serial number on the frame. Fitted with a nicely figured smooth one piece walnut grip. The factory letter states it was shipped to Klay Associates in the white, that it was specially polished and that it was shipped on July 8th, 1983. With correspondence between Frank Klay and the original buyer discussing options and a letter from Frank Klay showing the work performed. With a walnut display case lined in rust red velvet, an empty cap tin, a bullet mold, a nipple wrench/screwdriver, a powder flask, a shipping box for the case and a "woodgrain" box without a label.

Near new with only a few light handling/storage marks and some wear on the delicate nitre blue screws and trigger. The case is very good with a crack in the lid. The accessories are all very good or better.

B) This revolver was shipped to Klay Associates in the white. The factory letter confirms the configuration, that it was specially polished prior to shipment and that it was shipped to Klay Associates on July 8th, 1983 with the "A" gun. There is also a letter signed by Frank Klay stating that it was shipped to them and that Klay Associates did not perform any work on this revolver. With a Colt walnut case lined in wine colored velvet and a "woodgrain" box without a label.
