A) WWII Italian Type I Japanese Contract Bolt Action Rifle. Manufactured in Italy for Japan during WW II, no markings except serial number on barrel, inverted "V" front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 2400 meters, straight bolt handle, and pistol grip style stock with finger grooves, handguard, steel buttplate, and sling swivels. Complete with a slotted cleaning rod.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown. The wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches and a few minor gouges.

B) Manufactured at Kokura Arsenal. Ground mum on the receiver. Shrouded inverted "V" front sight with ladder rear sight. The left side of the receiver has the serial number along with the Kokura Arsenal cannonball mark and sub-inspector mark. Polished bolt numbered to the gun with the extractor numbered to a different gun. Equipped with a folding bayonet.

Condition: Excellent. The carbine retains 97% original blue finish with some minor thinning. The wood is very good with some minor dings, scratches and pressure dents, with a series of minor gouges on the forearm (left side) and a series of pressure dents on the grip area.
