The left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA-CAL. 9 CORTO-Mo 1934-BREVETTATO / GARDONE V.T. 1939-XVII". The left grip tang has the Italian Army crown over RE marking, with a crown/FAG/39 marking on the right grip tang (likely a military acceptance stamp). The number "10" in a diamond is stamped on the right side of the trigger guard. Matching serial number on frame and trigger guard. Fitted with standard metal backed black plastic grips with "PB" emblem.

Condition: Excellent. The slide retains 95% original blue finish with the remaining finish turned to a purple hue with some minor edge wear. The barrel retains most of the purple hued blue finish. The frame also retains 95% blue finish with a faint plum patina overall. The grips are excellent with the exception of a few mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

B) 1934 Production Beretta Model 1934 Commercial Semi-Automatic Pistol in 7.65 mm
This early Beretta Model 1934 was manufactured before the 7.65 mm version of the Model 1934 pistol was designated the Model 1935 for easier identification. The left side of the slide has the early slide legend highlighted in white: "PISTOLA BERETTA 7.65 BREV. 1915-1919-Mo 1934 / GARDONE V.T.-1934-XII". The left grip tang has 1934 dated Italian commercial proofs. Matching serial number on the slide and frame. Fitted with metal backed plastic grips with "PB" emblem.

Condition: Excellent. The slide retains 97% original high polished blue finish with the remaining finish turning to a purple hue with some minor edge wear. The frame retains 98% high polished blue finish with some light thinning on the grip straps and limited minor spotting. The grips are excellent with the exception of a few minor handling marks. When magazine is out and slide is pulled back, barrel moves freely.
