A) Both sides of the frame have the Italian Navy "R anchor M" marking. The right side of the slide is marked "PISTOLA AUT BERETTA 7.65 BREV. 1915 1919". Matching serial number on frame and slide. Standard sheet metal vertically grooved factory grips.

Condition: Very fine. The slide retains 95% blue finish with some minor edge wear with some minor pitting that extends to the barrel. The frame retains 90% plus blue finish with some light thinning on the grip straps, some minor handling marks, and some scattered minor pitting on the edges. The grips are fine with some minor handling marks and some minor pitting.Mechanically needs work as the magazine locks up incorrectly.

B) Beretta Model 1935 Navy Semi-Automatic Pistol
Highlighted in white, "P. BERETTA-CAL. 7.65-BREVETTATA / GARDONE V.T. 1936-XV" on the left side of the slide. The left grip tang has the Italian Navy "R anchor M" marking and a circled "MR". The "MR" marking remains an unidentified acronym (see, for example, J.B. Wood's BERETTA AUTOMATIC PISTOLS, page 75). Matching serial number on slide and frame. Standard Beretta metal backed plastic grips.

Condition: Professionally refinished. The slide retains most of the purple hued blue finish. The frame retains 98% plus blue finish with very light thinning on the backstrap and pitting present under the blue. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Hammer does not hold at full cock position.
