The slide is marked "PISTOLA AUT-BERETTA-6.35 BREV. 1919" on the left side, with a Italian proof stamped behind the serrations. The left grip tang has 1934 dated Italian commercial proofs. Plastic grips with "PB" medallions. Matching serial number on slide and frame.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 97% original blue finish with the slide thinning to a brown patina. Most of the finish remains on the frame with some minor safety wear. The grips are excellent with the exception of some very light chips absent on the bottoms. Mechanically excellent.

B) Scarce Beretta Model 1931 Navy Semi-Automatic Pistol
The slide is marked "PISTOLA BERETTA 7.65 BREV. 1915-1919-Mo 1931" on the left side. The left grip tang is stamped with "BF" in an oval and a shield in a circle (likely a Navy acceptance mark) on the left grip tang. Straight grip variation with Italian Navy "R anchor M" medallions. Matching serial number on slide and frame.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 90% original blue finish with some minor edge wear and the grip strap thinning to a gray patina. There is some scattered minor pitting and spotting, along with a few minor scratches on the frame (left side). There is some minor wood loss around the left grip panel screw, otherwise the grips are excellent with some minor scratches. When magazine is out and slide is pulled back, barrel moves freely.
