The slide has the two line Beretta legend with the dated "1942 XX". The Italian Army "crown/RE" marking appears on the left grip tang, a circled "IVU" on the right grip tang, and a boxed "MC" on the right side of the trigger guard. Matching serial number on slide and frame. Standard factory grips.

Condition: Very fine. The slide retains 95% faded original blue finish thinning to a plum patina with some minor edge wear. The frame retains 97% blue finish with a faint plum patina. There is limited pin point pitting contained to the slide and backstrap. The grips are excellent with a couple minor dings and some minor scratches (mostly on the right grip panel).

B) Beretta Model 1934 Romanian Contract Semi-Automatic Pistol
The left side of the slide has the Romanian contract slide legend: "P. BERETTA-CAL. 9 SCURT-Mo 1934-BREVET. / GARDONE V.T.-1941". The left grip tang has 1941 dated Italian proofs. The right grip tang has the German commercial wholesaler Albrecht Kind shooting man logo. Matching serial number on frame and slide. Fitted with standard metal backed plastic grips with "PB" emblem.

Condition: Excellent. The slide retains 95% original purple hued blue finish with some minor edge wear and some pin point pitting. The frame retains over 97% blue finish with a faint plum patina overall. There is a small hairline crack on the left grip panel near the bottom, otherwise the grips are excellent with a few mild handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
