A) This Beretta Model 1934 semi-automatic pistol has the "Italian Army crown over RE" stamped on the left grip tang. The left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA-CAL.9 CORTO-Mo 1934-BREVETETTATO / GARDONE V.T. 1938-XVI", all highlighted in white. Matching serial number on the right side of the slide and frame. Fitted with the standard metal backed black plastic grips with "PB" emblem.

Condition: Very fine. The slide retains 80% of the faded original purple hued blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The frame retains 70% faded original high polished blue finish with a gray patina on the grip straps and some minor edge wear. There is some scattered light spotting and pin point pitting, with some minor pitting mostly on the slide. The grips are excellent with some scattered minor scratches. Trigger slow to reset, otherwise mechanically very good.

B) Beretta Model 1934 Air Force Semi-Automatic Pistol with Rare Slide Legend
This Beretta Model 1934 semi-automatic pistol has the "Italian Air Force crown over spread-wing eagle" stamped on the left grip tang. The left side of the slide is marked "P. BERETTA- CAL. 9 CORTO-Mo 1934-BREVET. / GARDONE V.T. 1943-XXI", all highlighted in white. Note that most "G" prefixed serial numbered Model 1934s have blank slides with a small portion of Air Force issued pistols, such as this example, found with a full slide legend. A boxed "UA / 47" proof is stamped on the right grip tang. Matching serial number on slide and frame. Fitted with the standard metal backed black plastic grips with "PB" emblem.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 80% original blue finish with a gray patina on the grip straps and some minor edge wear. The grips are excellent with the exception of a couple minor dings on the right panel and some scattered minor scratches overall. Mechanically excellent.
