A) Eclipse Single Shot Pistol. Made circa 1870-1887 by Iver Johnson. Produced without sights, with "ECLIPSE" on the left side of the chamber, smooth hammer and trigger and bird's head grips.

Finish: nickel
Grips: walnut
Serial Number: 9
Condition: Very fine with 95% plus of the original nickel finish, showing mild spotting and scratches overall. Grips are good with a scratch below the screw on the left panel and light pressure dents. Mechanically fine.

B) Blade and hammer notch sights, with no visible markings on the barrel except the serial number. Silver finished brass frame, with flush recoil shield, smooth hammer and spur trigger, matching serial number on the butt and smooth two piece grips.

Condition: Fine. The barrel has turned a mixed brown and gray patina, with mild spotting, dings and edge wear. Frame is very good, with a few patches of aged brass visible through the 80% original silver, which has taken on a fine dark patina, with "WH" scratched into the butt and some light dents and scratches overall. Mechanically fine.
