A) Savage Model 1917 Semi-Automatic Pistol. Manufactured between 1917 and 1920. Two line address, caliber/patent dates on top of the slide and serial number on the front of the frame. Fixed sights, external hammer with a serrated sharp spur, checkered magazine release, casehardened trigger and fitted with checkered black hard rubber grips with the Savage Indian head trademark.

Condition: Fine. The pistol retains 70% faded original matte blue finish with high edge wear and the frame is thinning to a smooth brown patina. The grips are also fine with some scattered minor dings and crisp checkering. Crisp and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.

B) This model is marked with the two line address/patent dates, "7.65 M-M." and "CAL .32" marking on top of the slide, the large "SAVAGE" on the left side of the frame and the serial number on the front of the frame. Features fixed sights, grip safety, casehardened trigger and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the "SAVAGE / QUALITY", Indian head logo in the center.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 85% slightly faded original blue finish with high edge wear, thinning on the grip safety and some light spotting. The grips are fine with a few minor dings and crisp checkering. Crisp and clear markings. Mechanically excellent.

C) Early Model 1907-09 number 1 Modification with the top of the slide marked with the two line address/patent date followed by the large "CAL 32" and the serial number marked on the bottom of the frame. Unmarked safety position, fixed sights, smooth magazine release, casehardened trigger and fitted with checkered metal grips with the "SAVAGE / QUALITY" Indian head logo in the center.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 85% original blue finish with high edge wear, scratches and thinning on the barrel an area on the right side of the frame and the back strap thinning to a smooth brown patina. Overall there are some minor scratches and dings. The grips are fine with areas of smooth silver gray on the high edges and points of the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
